INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS: PROTOCOL OF ACTION BEFORE EL COVID 19

Our hotel has implemented all the security measures established by the Health Authorities in relation to prevention against COVID 19, so that our clients are 100% safe. For this reason, we want to transmit a message of tranquility and trust with the measures adopted, since we have an action protocol following the health guidelines.

Below we detail the prevention measures implemented:

    GENERAL MEASURES

  • Our Staff has received training in preventive measures from Covid-19.
  • Our staff has the necessary protective equipment at all times.
  • All staff have been informed of the guidelines set by the health authorities in the hygiene and cleanliness standards, registered in the Guide of Good Practices of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
  • We reduce capacity, including elevators
  • Informational signage has been established in all areas indicating prevention and action measures in the facilities.
  • Disinfectant gel has been provided on all floors of the hotel.
  • MEASURES IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES

  • We have reduced the number of tables to keep the safety distance
  • Anything that cannot be served individually, we provide staff to serve customers by preventing them from handling food and tongs.
  • We have removed the bread from the Buffet and served it to the customers at the table.
  • All kitchen and living room staff work with gloves and masks, both those that are facing the client and those that are not.
  • In areas susceptible to crowds, we have marked minimum ground clearances, so that everyone respects the safety distance.
  • We provide the dishes by our staff, thus preventing customers from having direct access to it.
  • We have single doses of oil, vinegar, salt and pepper on the tables.
  • The letter will be informed to the client by QR code.
  • We carry out an exhaustive control and review of the temperature of the dishwashing trains (> 80º)
  • MEASURES IN CLEANING SERVICES

    ROOMS

  • Our laundry ensures and certifies the treatment of clothes at more than 60º and with disinfectant products.
  • We do not carry out the cleaning of the room while the client is inside it.
  • The cleaning staff is equipped with a mask, gloves, glasses and disposable apron as a preventive measure.
  • Exceptional cleaning and disinfection protocols have been established for the rooms after the clients' departure, paying special attention to frequent contact items such as door knobs, controls, closet interiors.
  • All rooms will undergo ozone treatment after each client's departure and before the next client's arrival.
  • The expendable items of stationery and decoration of the rooms have been removed
  • The Minibar service has been removed as a preventive measure.
  • Television and air conditioning controls and extra bedding have been sheathed for added security.
  • COMMON ZONES

  • Previous disinfection has been carried out days before the reopening of our hotel and ozone is applied to obtain a safe space.
  • The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of the hotel's common areas, reception desks, elevators, doors, bathrooms, etc. has been intensified.
  • The capacity of the elevator has been limited to one person, unless they are from the same family unit, indicating it through the corresponding signage
  • Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers have been installed on each floor of the hotel at the exit of the properly identified elevator, as well as in reception, restaurant and spa.
  • Signs identifying the safety distance have been established on the ground.
  • Towels have been removed from the common bathrooms, replacing them with paper hand drying dispensers
  • The use of masks is mandatory for clients and staff in compliance with the standard established by the Generalitat de Catalunya
  • MEASURES AT WELLNESS (SPA AND TREATMENTS)

  • We have reduced the capacity of the water area
  • We carry out treatments with a mask, glasses or facial protections and disposable aprons, and we disinfect the cabin after each treatment.
  • Protective screens have been installed at the spa reception and disinfectant gel for use
  • Safety distances have been identified
  • Paper hand drying dispensers have been installed in the bathrooms
  • Protective screens have been installed at the spa reception and hydroalcoholic gel
  • The spa staff have received the corresponding training in prevention and safety measures.
  • The hammocks of the spa have been distributed due to the safety distance and capacity
  • The rooms that can be used and their corresponding capacity have been established
  • MEASURES IN THE RECEPTION SERVICE

  • We have signaled the safety distance.
  • We have disinfectant gel on each counter.
  • We disinfect all delivery material to the client (room cards, pens, dataphones, etc). A disinfectant tray has been placed to deposit the client's documentation.
  • We have basic prevention information and regulations on the correct use of the facilities at our clients' disposal.
  • We have reinforced the cleaning and disinfection of the counters.
  • We disinfect the suitcase by the buttons, according to availability.
  • Protective screens have been installed at the reception desks
  • The reception staff have been trained in prevention measures against COVID 19, wearing face masks and face shields as protection
  • Disinfectant mat has been installed at the entrance of the Hotel
  • MEASURES IN TECHNICAL SERVICES

  • All personnel have the necessary individual protection and safety equipment.
  • We carry out repairs in the rooms, as far as possible, without the presence of the client. If this is not possible, we maintain the safety distance and use of masks also by the client
  • We disinfect all areas in which there has been intervention.
  • We constantly renew the air in the common areas, at a temperature of 23º-26º, and clean the filters.

Rules of coexistence and operation of services after the application of preventive measures for the containment of COVID-19

From the Hotel Acevi Val D´Aran we work thinking about the safety and well-being of our clients, for this reason, we ask for your collaboration and commitment to respect the following special rules of coexistence and contagion prevention measures by COVID-19:

  • Frequent hand washing / hygiene, particularly when accessing shared areas (reception, spa, restaurant ...). We offer you disinfectant hydroalcoholic gel at different points within our facilities.
  • Use the inside of the elbow to cover your mouth / nose when coughing or sneezing, or use disposable tissues and wash your hands afterward.
  • Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes in public spaces.
  • Use the bins that you will find in different points of our facilities to deposit all disposable hygiene and protection material (masks, gloves, disposable tissues, etc.).
  • Respect social distancing with people outside the family or living environment.
  • Avoid greetings that involve physical contact (hugs, kisses ...)
  • Respect the gaugings established in common areas, and particularly those in which there is no physical control by the establishment
  • Respect schedules and other regulations that may have been established by the establishment to comply with the permitted capacities, indicated in the signage available in the facilities and about which our staff can inform you.
  • Respect the distances between people established at customer service points, entrances to restaurant, spa, reception
  • Respect the signs that establish routes or safety distances, as well as the closure of some spaces.
  • Not staying in the room during the cleaning, maintenance or repair services to be carried out in it
  • Wear masks in common or shared areas
  • At the first signs of symptoms compatible with COVID-19 disease (fever, cough, or respiratory distress):
  • Insulate yourself in your room (affected and living together)
  • Inform the establishment by telephone (reception / customer service) of the situation
